First of all, Congratulations to all local graduates, as well as graduates who chose to visit Texas for its top-notch education system. You all hard work and persistence have paid off. We are here to help you make you look your BEST as you walk across the stage. So, here are some steps to remember and apply before the day when you all going to collenct your Graduation Degrees.

Imporant Things To Know Before Wearing A Graduation GOWN:

First thing to check is that you have the correct Graduation GOWN. Notice the Sleeves, Gown with Long Sleeves is for the Masters Level.

THE HOOD:

The Hood color should be Satin Maroon and Gold on the Inside, and the Velvet Program color on the Outside. If the Program Color is Sage doesn’t matter you can wear that too, That also use for the Masters Graduation Program.

How to Waer the Master’s HOOD:

1. Place the Hood over your Head with a Velvet V around your Neck.

2. The tale of the Hood Should drape down your back.

3. This part may required a friend to help you. Ask your friend to find the String and Button on the Velvel part of your HOOD. Remember, From that Point down turn the Fabric inside out. So the Maroon and Gold colors can be shown. Above the Button and String make sure the Velvet Color and Hood are Flat across your Back.

4. Wrap the String around the button going across the hood and (Not under the hood) and you’re done.

Helpful Hint:

You can use the Strong hanging from the V of the Hood in the front to wran around a button inside your gown. This can help ease neck discomfort. Safety pins are also great in case in case your Hood is missing a string and or your gown does not have button.

The Hat:

Last but not least, Wear your Graduation Hat and place the Tassels on the right. Now enjoy your Graduation, You have earned it.
